Advantage  is for dogs over  7 weeks of age.

Advantage calls itself the "Flea Specialist". It is 98%  - 100% effective  in destroying  fleas-and larvae infesting within 12 hours. It also kills re-infesting fleas within 2 hours. The fleas  are killed before they have a chance to place their eggs. This breaks the life cycle of the flea.

It requires monthly application as its effectiveness dissipates within 6 weeks. Advantage is water resistant and will last after giving the dog a bath , rain or swimming. 

Advantages applicator is easy to use. The medication is stain and odor free. It is applied to the back between the shoulder blades. It spreads naturally to the root level of the dogs hair. The medication is also spread  around the body by the natural  movement of the dog.

This product should not be used on cats.
